Acer Launches New Chromebook Plus Spin 714 and 516GE Notebooks
TapTechNews May 28th news, Acer today launched two new notebook models, Chromebook Plus Spin 714 and Chromebook Plus 516GE, with the highest equipped with Core Ultra processors, claiming to be built for productivity and gaming.
The two new products belong to the Chromebook Plus series and support functions such as Google's MagicEditor and Gemini AI assistant.
Acer Chromebook Plus Spin 714
Acer Chromebook Plus Spin 714 is highest equipped with Core Ultra 7165U processor, adopts a flip-touch design, and is equipped with a 14-inch 1920x1200 IPS touch screen with a brightness of 340 nits and covers 100% sRGB color gamut.
The computer also provides two Thunderbolt 4 interfaces, a 53Wh battery and a QHD webcam.
Acer Chromebook Plus 516GE
Acer Chromebook Plus 516GE focuses more on the gaming experience. It is highest equipped with Core 7150U processor and is equipped with a 16-inch 2560x1600 120Hz screen with a brightness of 350 nits and covers 100% sRGB color gamut. It is also equipped with a four-zone backlit keyboard and a built-in 65Wh battery.
TapTechNews noticed that the computer also has a 2.5 GbE wired network port, supports cloud gaming platforms such as NVIDIA GeForce NOW, Xbox Cloud Gaming, and Amazon Luna, continuing Google's Chromebook 'gaming notebook' idea.
