TechNews May 14 news, miHoYo's game Zone Zero official Weibo post at 2am, stating that some development materials were obtained by illegal means, including unreleased character design concepts. The production team has decided to publicly release these contents.
The production team announced a new project called Virtual Idol (temporary name) which is currently in production. After finalizing the designs for three idols, they plan to introduce them to players in a way that builds real virtual idols. The idols will also participate in Zone Zero's live streams, and miHoYo will launch more related projects such as character songs around them.
As for the leaked new faction Sons of Kalvindor, some are experimental attempts in the character design exploration process by the production team, and some content has been abandoned. Some characters from Sons of Kalvindor will meet players in a preview livestream before the public beta test.
According to TapTechNews' previous report, miHoYo's Zone Zero is now available on Apple AppStore for pre-order, with an expected release date of July 4, 2024.
