Google's Promise for Pixel 8a Lifespan and Repair Difficulty

TapTechNews on May 23 reported that Google promises a 7-year lifespan for the Pixel 8a phone, not only by providing 7 years of system and security updates, but more importantly, by still providing replaceable parts for it until 2030. So how difficult would it be if a consumer wanted to repair one by themselves?

In the latest video of the YouTube channel PBKreview, they disassembled the Google Pixel 8a phone, indicating that the overall repair difficulty is acceptable, but encountered a problem during the battery disassembly process. Even though there is a pull tab, the battery is adhered very tightly to the frame, and it is very difficult to remove it even with a large amount of isopropanol (isopropanol). During the disassembly process, it was also found that there is no Vapor Chamber inside the Pixel 8a phone, there is a large amount of graphite and copper film as well as a heat dissipation pad, but there is no VC vapor chamber for the Tensor G3 chipset.
