Geely Automobile to Launch ICON Linglong Model on May 25

TapTechNews May 23rd news, Geely Automobile announced today that the ICON Linglong model will go on the market on May 25. Currently, the exterior video of this new car has been released, and the current model starts at 109,900 yuan.

As a facelift model, the ICON Linglong model has little change in appearance compared to the currently sold ICON model, adopting split headlight groups, a closed front grille, and large-sized ventilation openings. The new car provides a new exterior color scheme, including five colors such as gray, pink, diamond gray, white, and blue. For reference, the size of the currently sold model is 4350mm * 1815mm * 1620mm, and the wheelbase is 2640mm.

In the cockpit, the car provides a 10.25-inch full LCD instrument panel and a 12.3-inch central control screen, equipped with the Geely Galaxy OS vehicle-mounted system. It is expected to provide configurations such as 540-degree transparent chassis image, App remote control, and automatic air conditioning, and add intelligent configurations such as front seat heating and electric tailgate according to different vehicle models.

According to TapTechNews' inquiry, the currently sold ICON model is equipped with a 1.5TD inline-four-cylinder engine with a maximum power of 133 kilowatts and a maximum torque of 290 Newton-meters, matching a 7-speed wet dual-clutch transmission. The comprehensive fuel consumption per 100 kilometers under the WLTC condition is 6.3 liters, and it is expected that there will not be much change in the new car.
