China Southern Airlines' C919 to Have Its Commercial First Flight on September 19th

China Southern is the first airline to use its self-developed system to manage the C919 flight plan. The Tianji system mainly used on the China Southern C919 aircraft is independently developed and has independent intellectual property rights. In addition to making flight plans, the Tianji system also provides the online performance calculation function for the takeoff and landing of the C919 aircraft, further improving the calculation accuracy and increasing the payload.

The first China Southern C919 aircraft is of the standard range type, adopting a 164-seat three-class layout, including 8 business class seats, 18 Pearl Economy class seats, and 138 economy class seats. The aircraft are all equipped with customized cabin seats and other facilities and equipment, with personal charging interfaces configured in the entire cabin.

The business class seat of the China Southern C919 is in a 2-2 layout, and the width of a single seat is 21 inches (about 53.34 centimeters), adopting a zero-gravity cradle-type backward tilt design.
