Sony's Nixxes Studio Announces 'Ghost of Tsushima' PC Porting Details

TapTechNews May 15th news, Sony's PC game porting studio Nixxes recently announced on the official Steam community of the director's cut of Ghost of Tsushima that a single player game experience (including the Iki Island expansion) can be experienced on SteamDeck and similar handheld gaming devices. The team has done a lot of performance optimization work on these devices and is providing the best experience possible.

The official also explained in detail the reason why the game is currently marked as not supported on SteamDeck by Steam: the game's multiplayer cooperative mode Legends requires access to the PSN functionality through Windows, which means players can only play the single player campaign mode of the game on the handheld device.

According to TapTechNews' previous report, Ghost of Tsushima updated its online terms earlier this month: players need to bind their PSN account before playing online multiplayer mode, but the single player mode does not require a PSN account.
