Nintendo to Release High-Definition Version of 'Donkey Kong Returns' in 2025

Nintendo announced during tonight's Direct presentation that they will release the high-definition version of 'Donkey Kong Returns' and it is slated to land on the Switch platform on January 16, 2025.

According to TapTechNews' research, 'Donkey Kong Returns' is a platform game produced by Retro Studios and published by Nintendo. It was initially released on the Wii on November 12, 2010, and later a 3DS version named 'Donkey Kong Returns 3D' was developed by Monster Games Studio and released in 2013.

It is worth mentioning that this game also had an NVIDIA Shield TV version released on July 4, 2019, and it was officially translated into Chinese.
