TapTechNews learned that currently, insured personnel in Beijing can choose pharmacies that support online medical insurance payment on relevant platforms to purchase drugs, and select the 'Beijing medical insurance personal account payment' option during the payment process, and then they can use the balance of the medical insurance personal account to pay.
In addition to Beijing, as TapTechNews reported earlier, the Shanghai medical insurance jointly with Alipay launched the 'takeout medicine purchase with medical insurance payment' system last year. When insured people in Shanghai purchase drugs on the takeout platform, they only need to select 'edical insurance payment' when paying, and they can conduct medical insurance settlement through the Alipay medical insurance electronic certificate.
