Wanderer's Journey: The Tyrant of the Continent is a single-player turn-based Japanese RPG mobile game that can be experienced for free (with some paid content) on Android and iOS devices, inheriting some settings of the previous work, retaining the classic RPG storyline and console gameplay of the original work, and making many optimizations and adaptations for the mobile platform.

In terms of storyline, the Wanderer's Journey: The Tyrant of the Continent mobile game will create a prequel story that is distinct from the original work, where travelers will embark on a journey as individuals chosen by the Ring of the Gods, following their hearts to choose between wealth, authority, fame, and the plot development will change accordingly. During the adventure, you can invite travelers of eight different professions to join your travel group, battle evil forces, and encounter monsters together.
The game's music director is Mr. Masafumi Isaki, who is responsible for all the music in the Wanderer's Journey series, with the music performed by a symphony orchestra, seamlessly switching between maps, plots, and battles. Using the Unreal Engine, the game features original HD-2D technology, adding 3DCG effects to the pixel-based 2D characters. The national server will also receive upgraded visuals.
The game includes 8 major professions: swordsman, dancer, merchant, scholar, pharmacist, scout, hunter, and astrologer. Players can choose suitable professions and characters for training based on personal preferences or character traits. The mobile version adopts an 8-player team collaborative combat system.
