XPeng Motors Aims to Expand Business to at Least 40 Countries by Year-End

TapTechNews August 27th news, Gu Hongdi, the honorary vice chairman and co-president of XPeng Motors, said in an interview that the company aims to expand its business scope from the current 30 countries and regions to at least 40 by the end of this year.

Gu Hongdi claimed that XPeng Motors will launch its products in Malaysia this week and officially announce its entry into the Singapore market. He also disclosed that XPeng Motors plans to enter the Australian, New Zealand, British, and Irish markets in the future.

As early as March this year, XPeng Motors announced that it will launch the right-hand drive version of XPeng G6 in Thailand, Singapore, and Malaysia, and start delivering in the third quarter of this year.

With the acceleration of XPeng Motors' internationalization 2.0 process, dealer groups including Singapore PremiumAutomobiles and Malaysia BermazAuto have already joined the ranks of XPeng Motors' partners.

In May this year, XPeng Motors announced that it has reached an exclusive cooperation agreement with Australian TrueEV company and officially entered the Australian market. TapTechNews found out that the latter will serve as the exclusive importer, distributor, and retailer of XPeng Motors in the Australian market, providing brand showrooms and full customer support.

XPeng Motors plans to officially launch XPeng G6 for the Australian market in the fourth quarter of 2024, and quickly integrate into the Australian market through the operating experience and local advantages of TrueEV, and quickly establish product competitiveness in the local market.
