From October 1st to 7th, the box office of National Day films in China in 2024 was 2.104 billion yuan ($304.86 million), and the number of moviegoers was 52.09 million. The box office of domestic films was 2.017 billion yuan, accounting for 95.87%.

Among them, the film The Volunteer Army: The Battle for Survival led the pack with a box office of 805 million yuan ($116.39 million).

Overall, this National Day holiday saw the release of various types of films such as new mainstream films, science fiction films, action films, suspense films, and animated films. In addition, some films released around the Mid-Autumn Festival still maintained a certain degree of popularity.
