On May 16, TapTechNews reported that Sony has just announced the lineup of second and third tier free games for PlayStation Plus in May, which will be available for download starting May 21.
Second and Third Tier Game Lineup:

Company of Liars (PS5)
The Sims 4: City Living (PS4, requires owning the PS4 version of The Sims 4)
Mafia: Definitive Edition (PS5)
Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town (PS4)
Returnal (PS4, PS5)
Dragon Quest Builders (PS4)
Dragon Quest Builders 2 (PS4)
The LEGO Movie 2 Videogame (PS4)
Watch Dogs (PS4)
Third Tier Classic Game Lineup:
2Xtreme (PS4, PS5)
Syphon Filter (PS4, PS5)
Tecmo's Deception: Invitation to Darkness (PS4, PS5)
For PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium members, selected games such as Horizon Zero Dawn will be removed from the game catalog later this month, and the details can be viewed on the PlayStation Plus page on PS4/PS5 consoles.
In addition, Sony announced the basic tier free games for PlayStation Plus earlier this month, including EA SPORTS FC 24, Ghost of Tsushima, TUNIC, Destiny 2: Season of the Lost, and more, as reported by TapTechNews.
