Great Wall 2.4T Off-road Cannon Pickup Starts Pre-sale with Impressive Features

TapTechNews August 15th news, the Great Wall 2.4T off-road pickup truck, namely the Cannon Pickup, officially kicks off pre-sale today. There are 2 models in total - the Entry-level version and the High-level version, with pre-sale prices of $26,000 and $27,000 respectively, and it will be launched during the Chengdu Auto Show on August 30th.

The Great Wall 2.4T off-road Cannon Pickup adopts a hexagonal wide grille, and is equipped with off-road equipment such as a front winch, a snorkel, and all-terrain tires. The fender position has a black anti-scratch strip, and the roof has a luggage rack, presenting an overall tough style.

This vehicle basically follows the appearance of the 2023 off-road Cannon Pickup Everest Edition model, equipped with configurations such as a snorkel, all-terrain tires, a metal roof rack, and a metal pedal. It is equipped with 18-inch off-road AT tires and supports part-time four-wheel drive, with standard front and rear axle electro-mechanical differential locks. This vehicle also has six all-terrain driving modes, enabling all-terrain, all-weather, and all-road off-roading.

In terms of specifications, the vehicle has a length, width, and height of 5444x1958x1893 mm (approx. 17.86x6.42x6.24 feet) respectively, and a wheelbase of 3230 mm (approx. 10.6 feet). It is equipped with a 2.4T diesel engine with the code GW4D24, with a maximum power of 180 horsepower and a peak torque of 354 pound-feet, and is mated to a 9-speed automatic transmission.
