On May 16th, TapTechNews reported that Huawei unveiled the MatePad 11.5-inch series of tablets at the summer full-scene product launch event. The series is equipped with the Kirin 9000WL processor and supports Starry NearLink technology.
According to Huawei, the tablet supports 22.5W charging and comes with a 22.5W charger. However, blogger @Victory Wenwen completed a test on the charging power of the tablet and found that the MatePad 11.5-inch Soft Light version supports a maximum charging power of 66W and can also trigger Huawei's Super Fast Charge Turbo function.
TapTechNews noted that this is not the first time Huawei has understated the charging power of its products. The official promotion for the Huawei MatePad Pro 13.2-inch tablet initially claimed it supports 88W charging. However, user tests revealed that the tablet actually supports 100W fast charging, and under this power, the MatePad Pro 13.2-inch can also trigger the Super Fast Charge Turbo function.
