TapTechNews May 28th news, HP updated its monitor lineup last week and launched several monitors using LG Display IPSBlack panels. Among them, the most notable one is the 37.5-inch HP 738pu, a curved ultrawide screen with a price of 1249 US dollars (TapTechNews note: currently about 9055 Chinese yuan).
The HP 738pu is 37.5 inches in size, has an aspect ratio of 24:10, a curvature of 2300R, and a resolution of 3840x1600. This format is not very common but is favored by many people.
The IPSBlack panel has a 5ms G2G response time, a 2000:1 contrast ratio, 400 nits of brightness, 178/178 viewing angles, 8-bit + FRC color depth, and a wide color gamut covering 98% of DCI-P3. TapTechNews reminds based on the official specification parameters that the screen refresh rate is 60 Hz.
