Shenzhou-18 Astronauts' Successful Extravehicular Mission and Ongoing Space Adventures

TapTechNews July 3rd news, according to CCTV News, at 22:51 Beijing time on July 3, 2024, after about 6.5 hours of extravehicular activities, the Shenzhou-18 crew astronauts Ye Guangfu, Li Cong and Li Guangsu cooperated closely. With the cooperation and support of the space station's robotic arm and ground researchers, a space debris protection device was installed for the space station's external pipelines, cables and key equipment, and the external inspection task was completed.

The extravehicular astronauts Ye Guangfu and Li Cong have safely returned to the Wentian experimental module, and the extravehicular activity achieved a complete success.

Up to now, the space business trip of the Shenzhou-18 astronauts crew has completed one-third, and a large number of scientific experiments and technical tests will be carried out on orbit in the follow-up.

Based on TapTechNews' previous reports, at 18:58 Beijing time on May 28, 2024, after about 8.5 hours of extravehicular activities, the Shenzhou-18 crew astronauts Ye Guangfu, Li Cong and Li Guangsu cooperated closely. With the cooperation and support of the space station's robotic arm and ground researchers, the tasks such as the installation of the space debris protection device of the space station and the inspection of external equipment and facilities were completed. Astronauts Ye Guangfu and Li Guangsu have safely returned to the Wentian experimental module, and the extravehicular activity achieved a complete success.

At Beijing time on April 25, the Shenzhou-18 manned spaceship was successfully separated from the Long March rocket and entered the predetermined orbit. The astronaut crew was in good condition and the launch was a complete success.
