Global Cryptocurrency Theft Surges in First Half of 2024

In addition, the average amount of each theft case this year is also 50% higher than that in the same period last year.

So far this year, one of the largest cryptocurrency theft cases is the unauthorized leak incident that occurred at the Japanese cryptocurrency exchange DMMBitcoin, losing bitcoins worth about 308 million US dollars.
