BMW to Reduce Volume to Protect Prices in July Due to Price War

According to TapTechNews' previous report, the BMW Group yesterday announced the latest delivery data for the second quarter and the first half of 2024. In the first half of this year, BMW and MINI sold 375,947 new cars in China, a year-on-year decrease of 4.2%; the sales volume in China in the second quarter of this year reached 188,495, a year-on-year decrease of 4.7%.

In the first half of 2024, the global sales volume of the BMW brand reached 1,096,486 units, a year-on-year increase of 2.3%; including 179,557 pure electric models, a year-on-year increase of 34.1%. The global sales volume of the BMW brand in the second quarter reached 565,553 units, a year-on-year increase of 2.2%.
