According to TapTechNews' previous report, Apple significantly announced AppleIntelligence (Apple Intelligence) at the WWDC24 held this month, which will introduce a series of AI functions for iPhone, Mac and other devices.

Local model: A language model with about 3 billion parameters on the device, and the test score is higher than many open-source models with 7 billion parameters (Mistral-7B or Gemma-7B);

Cloud model: A larger cloud language model that can be run on Apple chip servers through private cloud computing.

According to Apple, 'AppleIntelligence is deeply integrated into iOS18, iPadOS18 and macOS Sequoia, fully utilizing the understanding and creation capabilities of Apple chips for language and images to make a variety of cross-App operations, and at the same time combining with personal scenarios to simplify and speed up the daily task process for users. In addition, Apple has set a new standard for the privacy function of AI and can flexibly configure and expand computing resources between the device-end process and the larger, server-based model equipped with Apple chips.'
