GAC Aion Hyper Announces Intelligent Driving Updates

TapTechNews June 2nd, GAC Aion Hyper released a preview of its intelligent driving function, and it is expected to open the no-map NDA intelligent driving function in 41 cities in July.

TapTechNews learned that the intelligent driving function of Hyper HT car has currently opened in six cities including Guangzhou, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Suzhou, Hangzhou, and Nanjing, and 41 cities will be opened in July, including cities such as Wenzhou, Ningbo, Foshan, Shaoxing, Jiaxing, Jinhua, Taizhou, Huzhou, and Linyi.

The preview also shows that Hyper's intelligent driving will be opened nationwide in September. The Early Bird Plan of Hyper intelligent driving is launched, and HT model users can sign up with one click in the app, and after opening, they can experience the urban NDA intelligent pilot assist system.

The HT model of Hyper Automobile in 2024 was launched at the 2024 Beijing Auto Show in April this year. The car measures 4935 * 1920 * 1700mm (about 16.2 * 6.3 * 5.6 feet), with a wheelbase of 2935mm (about 9.6 feet), and the maximum speed is 183 km/h (about 114 mph); HT includes 5 models, and the pricing starts from 219,900 yuan (about 30,000 US dollars).
