According to the introduction, the super virtual orbital train (SRT3.0) is a new type of rail transportation product integrating the advantageous technologies of rail transit and road traffic, similar to the intelligent rail train that has been put into use in Zhuzhou, Hunan before, which is actually the car body of a low-floor tram plus the hub of a traditional articulated bus, combined with the virtual orbital technology, and can operate according to the pre-set driving path.

The train adopts high-energy lithium battery energy storage technology, and it can travel 25 kilometers after charging for 10 minutes; it supports dual-ended driving, and the minimum turning radius is 15 meters; with the built-in optical image recognition + Beidou satellite navigation technology, the train can realize automatic track-following driving.

At the same time, the super virtual orbital train (SRT3.0) can adjust the operation route according to the actual passenger transport demand and is applied to urban transportation branch lines, tourist scenic area lines, etc., and is known as the subway on the road. TapTechNews found out that the CRRC Zhuzhou super virtual orbital train (SRT3.0) adopts 3 marshalling, the car is 32 feet long, 8.7 feet wide, the maximum operating speed is 48 miles per hour, the passenger capacity is nearly 300 people, and it has been test-running in Pingtan since the beginning of May this year. Since its operation, it has accumulated nearly 15,000 passengers.
