Zheng Yu Joins UBTECH as Humanoid Robot Scientist

TapTechNews September 27th news, the humanoid robot motion control technology expert Zheng Yu joined UBTECH yesterday and took up the post of vice president of the UBTECH Research Institute and the position of humanoid robot scientist.

Zheng Yu joined Tencent Robotics X as an expert researcher and the head of the control center in 2018, and the main research fields include dexterous robot operation, legged robot motion control and robot motion planning.

Zheng Yu has published nearly 40 papers as the first author in international top journals, including 8 IEEE T-RO, and has more than 70 domestic and foreign invention patents, and is also an IEEE senior member.

According to TapTechNews, on December 29, 2023, Shenzhen UBTECH Technology Co., Ltd. (referred to as UBTECH) was listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange and became the first humanoid robot stock.

This year, UBTECH has cooperated with auto enterprises such as Dongfeng Liuzhou Automobile, Geely Automobile, FAW Hongqi, FAW-Volkswagen Qingdao Branch, Audi FAW, and 3C enterprise Foxconn, logistics enterprise SF Express, etc.
