China Successfully launched satellites with Kuaizhou-11 launch vehicle
TapTechNews May 21st news, according to CCTV News, at 12:15 on May 21, 2024 Beijing time, in the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center, China used the Kuaizhou-11 Yao-4 launch vehicle to successfully launch the Wuhan-1 satellite and the Ultra-low Orbit Technology Test Satellite. The satellites successfully entered the predetermined orbit, and the launch mission was a complete success. This mission also carried and launched the Tianyan-22 satellite and the Lingque-3 01 star.
This mission is the 32nd flight of the Kuaizhou series launch vehicles.
TapTechNews found out that the Kuaizhou-11 solid launch vehicle is led by the Aerospace Sanjiang under the China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation for research and development. It adopts vehicle-mounted mobile launch and has the ability to deploy multiple satellites, which can adapt to diversified commercial launch tasks.
According to the Changjiang Daily news, in July 2023, the Space Engineering General Department of the China Aerospace Science and Industry Group announced the start of the construction of the 'Chutian' ultra-low orbit communication and remote sensing integrated constellation. The 'Chutian' constellation will be implemented in three stages: the technology and business verification stage, the large-scale networking stage, and the integrated development stage.
In the technology and business verification stage, in 2024, 1 ultra-low orbit technology test satellite will be launched; from 2024 to 2025, 9 satellites will be launched to form a business verification star cluster to build an immediate remote sensing business application demonstration system.
In the large-scale networking stage from 2026 to 2030, 300 satellites will be networked and operated to provide a multi-type all-time-phase remote sensing service system such as visible light, SAR, hyperspectral, and infrared, forming a global 15-minute response ability.
In the integrated development stage after 2030, the comprehensive construction of the business system will be completed to achieve an immediate business response ability within 10 minutes globally.
