TapTechNews June 8th news, according to the on-site report of Paul's Hardware YouTube tech channel, Thermaltake released a brand-new titanium SFX power supply product, Toughpower SFX Titanium 1200W, at the 2024 COMPUTEX Taipei.
Due to its own size limitation, the SFX power supply is difficult to stack materials like the ATX power supply, and is inherently at a disadvantage in terms of conversion efficiency. Up to now, there are only a few titanium SFX, especially high-power titanium SFX power supplies.
TapTechNews learned that the three-dimensional size of Thermaltake Toughpower SFX Titanium 1200W is 4.09*4.92*2.50 (inches), slightly longer than the standard SFX power supply, and is equipped with a 9cm hydraulic bearing fan that supports low-load intelligent stop rotation.
Thermaltake said that Toughpower SFX Titanium 1200W adopts an LLC resonant and DC-DC conversion circuit structure, all 105°C temperature-resistant Japanese electrolytic capacitors, and the conversion efficiency can reach 94%.
The power supply has passed the Intel ATX3.1 certification. It adopts a full modular design and is equipped with 1 set of 12V-2x6 power supply module port and 4 sets of CPU and PCIe universal 8Pin power supply module ports.
In addition, Thermaltake also follows the trend and exhibited a prototype of a tower air cooler with a 3DVC vapor chamber at COMPUTEX 2024:
