AMD will启用 different gfx codes for each generation of GPU / graphics card products, such as Navi31 corresponding to gfx1100, and StrixPoint integrated graphics corresponding to gfx1150. And the gfx1201 GPU has启用 a new gfx12XX code series, which is expected to correspond to the Radeon 8000 RDNA4 series graphics cards.

This gfx1201 GPU is equipped with 28 ComputeUnits. And in the test results of the RDNA3 architecture Radeon RX7900XTX graphics card, the column of ComputeUnits is 48, corresponding to the number of WGPs.

Assuming that the RDNA4 architecture does not make significant modifications to the basic architecture, then gfx1201 will have 28 WGPs, that is, 56 computing units. This specification is close to the RX7800XT equipped with 60 computing units in the RDNA3 product sequence.

The tested system of this gfx1201 GPU is equipped with an Intel Core i7-12700F processor, an ASUS TUFGAMING B660M-PLUS WIFI D4 motherboard and 16.00 GB DDR4 memory at 3192 MT/s (approximately 3200 MT/s), belonging to a mainstream mid-range platform.
