Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake Announcement Expected Soon

The official account of the Dragon Quest X platform has currently released a mysterious poster, combined with the logo and the caption "The legend of勇者罗德 is about to begin. Are you ready for the adventure?", hinting at the long-awaited "Dragon Quest III: HD-2D Remake" game.

And the source Midori has also confirmed the relevant news, claiming that the official is expected to officially announce more information about Dragon Quest III: HD-2D Remake in a few weeks.

TapTechNews learned from the poster that this game will be available on all platforms such as PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC (Steam), and it is expected that the relevant game product pages will be launched on Steam soon.

According to the introduction, the HD-2D remake can be regarded as "the original pixel character model" being placed in a 3D scene with volumetric light after high-definition remastering. For the original Dragon Quest III, this game was first released on the Japanese FC console platform in 1988, and then released in North America in 1992 under the title "Dragon Warrior III".

It is known that this game is the last work of the "Lotto Trilogy" storyline, but it is the first chapter in the plot timeline. The game tells the adventure story of the勇者斗恶龙勇者 saving the world from the demons.
