Microsoft Releases New Windows Support Docs, Promotes Password-Free Experience

TapTechNews June 7th, Microsoft today released new Windows 10 and Windows 11 support documents, recommending that users log in with a Microsoft Account (MSA), and use the Windows Hello method to enhance device security and bring a password-free experience to users.

This is not the first time Microsoft has recommended that users achieve password-free login through MSA, but the support document released today is more user-friendly for entry-level users, explaining the entire password-free experience in an easy-to-understand way.

TapTechNews attaches the main brief introduction of Microsoft support documents as follows:

Enhance the security of Windows devices with Windows Hello. If Windows Hello has been set up, then the password login method can be eliminated, thereby obtaining a safer experience.

After users transition to the password-free solution, all functions on the device that require a Microsoft account and password (including various applications and web browsers) will seamlessly transition to using facial recognition, fingerprint recognition, etc. of Windows Hello.

Note: This option is only available after logging in with a Microsoft account.
