Microsoft Developing Remastered Halo Combat Evolved for PlayStation 5, Sources Say

TapTechNews checked the relevant information, Halo: Combat Evolved has two Chinese names, one is called Halo: Battle Evolution, and the other is called Halo: The Last Battle. In this article, Halo: The Last Battle is introduced.

If the news is true, then it is the 4th independent version of this game. The original work of Halo: Combat Evolved was developed and produced by Bungie, and the PC port version was made by GearboxSoftware, mainly optimizing the graphic effects.

After Bungie ended its cooperation with Microsoft, the 343Industries studio took over the development and launched the remastered version Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary for Xbox 360, and then incorporated into the Halo: Master Chief Collection.

Warren said that the remastered version of Halo: Combat Evolved currently being developed has the internal code name of 'Project Latitude' and will be ported to the PlayStation 5 gaming console to advance Microsoft's multi-platform game strategy.
