GAC Toyota to Launch New Pure Electric SUV and Sedan with Advanced Technologies

In addition to the aforementioned model, GAC Toyota will also launch a brand new C-class pure electric sedan, and the intelligent cockpit of this car will have a more comprehensive cooperation with Huawei.
GAC Toyota even claimed in the event that it has a series of hardcore technologies in the joint venture 2.0 era: Momenta for leading intelligent driving, Huawei for intelligent cockpit, Pony.ai for driverless, all-solid-state battery for electric cars, and Tencent for cockpit ecosystem.
In another PPT, GAC Toyota announced that in cooperation with Momenta, it will achieve the first among joint venture (brands) end-to-end high-level intelligent driving installation, including 126-line lidar, high-definition camera that can detect a distance of 200 meters, 254 TOPS Nvidia Orin X high computing power platform and other hardware, as well as end-to-end large model algorithm 5.0 and other software.
This brand new C-class pure electric sedan has an overall low-profile stance, with a smooth and rounded roof curve, while the waistline part of the body appears angular. In addition, this car is equipped with through-type daytime running lights and a closed front face, which is more technological compared to Toyota's current models on sale.
According to TapTechNews' previous report, in June this year, GAC Toyota announced the joint launch of an end-to-end full-scenario intelligent driving solution with Momenta, which will be first installed on the new pure electric SUV bZ3X. It supports intelligent driving in urban and highway scenarios, supports intelligent parking, has an end-to-end intelligent driving large model based on Momenta algorithm 5.0, and does not rely on high-precision maps.
