New Arcfox Alpha S 5560PRO Features, Configurations, and More
TapTechNews August 1st news, the Arcfox Alpha S 5560PRO officially goes on the market, with a guided price of $23,000. The Alpha S 5 is a pure electric midsize car, offering front-wheel drive and four-wheel drive versions.
TapTechNews noticed that the Arcfox Alpha S 5 went on the market in June this year, and the guided prices of the initial three models were between $25,000 and $30,000. The newly added 560PRO version, as the entry-level version, has a price reduction of $2,000 and some configurations are reduced at the same time, such as side air curtains, automatic parking, tracking reverse, electric tailgate, remote vehicle movement, head-up display, wireless phone charging, ambient lights, exterior rearview mirror heating/electric folding and 15-speaker audio.
The Alpha S 5 adopts a fastback design and is equipped with frameless doors. The body size is 1898/760/583 inches and the wheelbase is 1142 inches. In terms of interior, the Alpha S 5 adopts the latest family design style and is equipped with a flat-bottomed steering wheel up and down, a 15.6-inch central control screen and a怀挡式 shift mechanism.
The Alpha S 5 is fully equipped with active air intake grille, panoramic sunroof that cannot be opened, L2-level assisted driving, panoramic imaging, front seat heating/ventilation/memory, Huawei Hicar/Apple CarPlay interconnection and rear seat 40:60 folding, etc.
In terms of power, the entry-level and second-lowest configuration of the Alpha S 5 support the 400-volt high-voltage fast charging platform, and the medium and high configuration models support the 800-volt high-voltage fast charging platform. Single-motor and dual-motor models are provided. The single-motor model has two tunings of high and low power, with the maximum power of 250 kilowatts and 272 kilowatts respectively, and the maximum torque is both 487 pound-feet; the combined power of the dual-motor model is 522 kilowatts, and the combined torque is 938 pound-feet.
In terms of cruising range, the Alpha S 5 provides a lithium iron phosphate battery of 65 kWh and a ternary lithium battery of 79.2 kWh, and the cruising range under the CLTC working condition is 348 miles, 404 miles (four-wheel drive) and 440 miles, respectively.
