The company also said that the initial sales of 'Bubble Star' are also lower than expected.

These three poorly performing games were originally PlayStation 5 exclusive titles, so some people think that if they also land on Xbox Series X/S, SquareEnix might get additional revenue.

Currently, 'Final Fantasy 16' has landed on the PC platform. Although 'Final Fantasy 7: Reborn' is still PS5 exclusive for now, the previous work of this series, 'Final Fantasy 7 Remake', eventually also launched the PC version, so it is expected that the sequel will follow.

SquareEnix also said that it will 'shift to a multi-platform strategy', and the company stated: 'For high-definition games, we will create a global environment so that more customers can enjoy our main series and AAA games, and some old games that have been released on specific platforms before.'

It is worth noting that 'Bubble Star' will become a free-to-play game next month. This game was previously priced at $30 on the PlayStation Store.
