New Dual-Screen Laptop DS16 Launched by SZBOX

TechNews5 May 16 - According to liliputing, a manufacturer from Shenzhen, China, SZBOX (Shenzhen Yiming Shang Industrial Development Co., Ltd.) recently launched a dual-screen laptop DS16, which has no physical keyboard and two screens of the same size, both 16 inches.

This laptop has a very unique design: when unfolded, the bottom screen tilts up at a certain angle, and both screens support touch, allowing users to choose between a virtual keyboard or an external wired/wireless keyboard.

According to the introduction, the resolution of the two screens of this laptop is 1920*1200, but no information such as refresh rate or brightness is disclosed, it has 100% sRGB color gamut. However, the official has only released rendering images at present, making it difficult for users to intuitively understand its display effect from the slightly abstract screen interface.

It is equipped with an Intel i5-12450H or i7-1260P processor, the standard version comes with 16GB DDR4 memory and 512GB storage space, and the top version can be expanded to 64GB memory and 2TB storage.

The size of this laptop is 357x247x31 millimeters, weighs 2.8 kilograms, and has a built-in 57WH capacity battery; equipped with three USB 3.0 Type-A ports, one USB Type-C port, HDMI and 3.5mm audio ports, a gigabit Ethernet port, supports Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 4.2. In other aspects, it is equipped with 1W stereo speakers and a 1 million pixel webcam.

There are two fans inside the laptop for active cooling, two SO-DIMM slots for dual-channel DDR4-3200 memory, and supports M.2 2280 SSD.
