Global TWS Earphone Market Ranking in Q1 2024 Revealed

TapTechNews May 14th news, market research firm Canalys released a report today, stating that in the first quarter of 2024, the global TWS (True Wireless Stereo) earphone market shipped 65 million units, a 6% year-on-year growth, with the top five being Apple, Xiaomi, Samsung, boAt (Indian earphone manufacturer), and Huawei.

In the global market, Apple's shipments declined by 8% year-on-year, but still ranked first with a stable shipment of 16 million units, capturing a 25% market share; Xiaomi, the fastest-growing among the top five manufacturers, grew 61% year-on-year, surpassing Samsung for the first time to rank second; Samsung and Indian manufacturer boAt's shipment volumes remained relatively stable, with market shares of 8% and 5% respectively; Huawei shipped 2.2 million units, a 13% growth, surpassing Walkers to enter the top five.

In the domestic market, Xiaomi grew by 76% year-on-year, capturing a 20% market share and ranking first; Apple was surpassed by Xiaomi to rank second, Huawei grew by 8% year-on-year, surpassing Walkers to become the third, narrowing the gap with Apple; Walkers and Baseus ranked fourth and fifth.

Transsion grew by 84% year-on-year in Africa, capturing over half of the TWS market in Africa; Xiaomi surpassed Apple in the Central and Eastern Europe region to become first.
