TechNews on May 14th - AITO Motors announced that the new M5 of the WENJIE series will officially start nationwide customer deliveries on May 15th.
The model was launched on April 23rd with an official price range of 24.98-27.98 million RMB (approximately $3.52-3.93 million USD). The new car has undergone small optimizations in terms of appearance and upgraded the vehicle configurations and intelligent driving systems.
According to previous data, HONMENG ZHIXING delivered a total of 29,632 vehicles in April. From May 1st to 4th, the total number of vehicles delivered surpassed 8,600 units. With the delivery of the new M5, it is expected that the delivery data of HONMENG ZHIXING and the WENJIE series will reach a new high in May.
The WENJIE new M5 is positioned as a high-performance urban SUV, with a four-wheel drive version accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.3 seconds and a maximum torque of 675 Nm. The new extended MAX version is optional, with a comprehensive cruising range of 1440km under CLTC conditions, and a pure electric range of up to 255km.
The WENJIE new M5 comes standard with laser radar, including millimeter wave, machine vision, ultrasonic wave, fusion perception system, and the strongest intelligent driving system that can be used nationwide, claiming to be the best even when compared to Tesla. In addition, the new M5 adds a remote parking function, making it easy to park in narrow spaces, providing convenience and elegance.
