Tamron to Launch New E-mount Lens

TapTechNews June 1st news, according to foreign media SonyAlphaRumors report, Tamron is expected to launch the 50-300mm F/4.5-6.3 Di III VC VXD E-mount lens on June 6. This lens is claimed to be more compact compared to Tamron's 50-400mm F4.5-6.3 lens, and the weight is reduced to 665 grams (about 1.466 pounds).

It is introduced that this lens has a filter size of 67mm, built-in zoom lock structure, has a fluorine coating, has certain moisture-proof ability, uses a torque motor, has VC image stabilization, and is said to have high-speed/ high-precision autofocus ability and excellent subject tracking performance. The closest focusing distance at the 50mm end is 0.22 meters and supports the Tamron TAMRONLensUtility software for parameter adjustment and extension.

However, the structure and MTF chart of this lens are currently not known for the time being, and TapTechNews will continue to follow up and report.
