Apple to Add New Navigation Feature 'Scenes' and Object Alignment Option in iOS 18 for Freeform App

TapTechNews June 1st, a blog post by technology media AppleInsider today stated that Apple will expand and introduce a brand new navigation feature called 'Scenes' for the 'Freeform' application in the iOS 18 system and add a new option for object alignment.

Introduction to the 'Freeform' Application

TapTechNews will briefly introduce the 'Freeform' application first. This application was launched in 2022 and has now been rolled out in iOS, iPadOS, macOS 15 and visionOS versions.

'Freeform' is an excellent tool for turning inspiration into reality. Sketch project outlines, design mood boards or start a brainstorm on the flexible canvas that supports almost all file types. With iCloud, all boards will be synchronized on the Mac, iPad or iPhone.

The 'Scenes' Function

Next, let's introduce the brand new 'Scenes' function. Users can select a specific paragraph and then mark it with 'Scenes' and name it as they like.

Later, when users are reading other content, they can quickly return to the marked paragraph and support multi-person collaborative editing and other operations. News said that the 'Scenes' function is compatible with iCloud, meaning that the marked paragraphs can be shared in the cloud to make it more convenient for users to share and edit.

Users can quickly access these marked paragraphs in the application interface and support operations such as editing, saving, exporting as PDF files or printing.
