TapTechNews, May 11 - According to the latest retail sales data from the China Passenger Car Market Information Joint Council, domestic narrow passenger car retail sales reached 1.532 million units in April, a year-on-year decrease of 5.7% and a month-on-month decrease of 9.4%. From January to April, cumulative sales totaled 6.364 million units, reflecting a year-on-year increase of 8.0%.
In April this year, China's new energy passenger car wholesale volume reached 785,000 units, up 30.0% year-over-year and down 3.7% month-over-month. New energy vehicle market retail sales totaled 674,000 units in April, a year-on-year increase of 28.3% and a month-on-month decrease of 5.7%.
