Samsung Factory Radiation Leak in South Korea (Gyeonggi-do)

The South Korean Atomic Energy Safety Commission has launched an investigation into this incident.

It is learned that the incident site is the Guseong Chip Manufacturing Plant about 40 kilometers from the South Korean capital Seoul. At present, the cause of the accident is still unclear, and relevant investigations are underway.

The South Korean Atomic Energy Safety Commission said that the two workers' fingers showed abnormal symptoms of radiation exposure, but the results of routine blood tests were normal. To prevent similar incidents from happening again, the commission has ordered the suspension of the use of the equipment involved.
