OPPOFindX8 Series Phone Rumors Dimensity 9400, New Features and Competition

TapTechNews May 22nd news, the blogger @DigitalChatStation exposed a mysterious new phone today. It is said that this phone will 'launch the Dimensity 9400 + 1.5K small-size straight screen + periscope'. The comment area generally believes that this phone is the OPPOFindX8 series phone that will be unveiled in October.

The blogger previously also claimed that the OPPOFindX8 series phone currently plans three models. The medium and large cup models will be unveiled as soon as October, and the super-large cup of the imaging flagship iteration will be unveiled in the first quarter of 2025. Compared to the current OPPOFindX7 series phone, the new phone is said to adopt 'new form design, new imaging plan, new battery fast charging', claiming that it 'can make up for the shortcomings of the previous generation of models'.

According to TapTechNews' previous report, the Dimensity 9400 is tentatively scheduled to be released in October, so the relevant time points can also match with the OPPOFindX8. This chip is said to adopt a full big-core design of Cortex-X5, Cortex-X4, and Cortex-A7xx. The leak did not disclose the specific CPU architecture, but if it is similar to the Dimensity 9300, it may be one Cortex-X5 super-large core, three Cortex-X4 large cores, and four Cortex-A730 large cores.

Judging from the paper parameters, this will be a very strong CPU configuration, but the Dimensity 9400 will face fierce competition from the Snapdragon 8 Gen4 later this year. Qualcomm has confirmed that the Snapdragon 8 Gen4 will be the first smartphone chipset to adopt its self-developed Oryon core, so we are very much looking forward to seeing the competition between these two processors in terms of performance.
