The BYD BD11 will be put into operation in the second half of this year, with a maximum passenger capacity of 90 people, the battery capacity is as high as 532 kilowatt-hours, and supports dual-gun charging. The first batch of models is specifically designed for London, and subsequent models will be launched to meet the needs of different regions in the UK. The new-generation blade battery double-decker bus chassis carried by the BYD BD11 integrates the battery with the frame, which not only significantly reduces the weight of the whole vehicle, increases the range, but also improves the stability and handling of the vehicle. The whole vehicle design takes into account the comfort and safety of both the driver and the passengers, and advanced active safety configurations such as Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) can be optionally installed.

It is known that the price of this bus in the UK market is about 400,000 pounds, which is currently equivalent to about 3.68 million yuan.

It is worth mentioning that this press conference was held in the London Transport Museum, which is of great historical significance. The museum collects the first double-decker electric bus with the BYD K9E chassis.

According to BYD, currently, more than 1,800 BYD electric buses are running on UK roads, with a total mileage of more than 127 million kilometers, which is equivalent to a cumulative reduction of 137 million tons of carbon dioxide emissions. As of April this year, BYD's new energy footprints have spread to 88 countries and regions and more than 400 cities around the world.
