Microsoft Releases Windows 11 Update with Enhancements and Bug Fixes
TapTechNews July 16th news, Microsoft today released Windows 11 Build 26120.1252 (KB5038603) update for Windows Insider program members in the Dev channel.
TapTechNews learned that this update re-enabled the Narrator improvement introduced in Build 26120.961, and the related functions were temporarily suspended for testing due to bugs; in addition, adjustments were made to the lock screen, start menu, and file explorer. The specific update contents are as follows:
Re-started tested functions
Narrator supports using voiceaccess to issue commands
In the Windows 11 system, users can use VoiceAccesss to issue instructions to the Narrator function, such as Open Narrator, Speak faster, Read selected content, Read next line, etc.
VoiceAccess automatic restart
Microsoft introduced an automatic restart function for VoiceAccess in the new Windows 11 preview version to ensure automatic restart after encountering problems, and individuals with limited mobility can resume using VoiceAccess as soon as possible.
Users will no longer need to rely on other assistive technologies or the help of others to restart voice access. If voice access automatically restarts due to a crash, we will report these crashes more conveniently after the voice access restarts so that the team can investigate and repair.
Microsoft launched new voice commands that can be directly searched in Windows search, and can say:

New additions in this version
Start menu
Users can now directly drag and drop pinned applications in the start menu to the taskbar.
File explorer
Users can now directly drag and drop files in the file explorer address bar.
Lock screen
New cards such as finance, transportation, sports, and weather are added, and users need to manually turn on the related functions in Settings > Personalization > Lock screen.
Bug fixes

Fixed the problem that might cause explorer.exe to crash when leaving the home page of the resource manager.
Input method
Fixed the problem that the input method Pinyin might be displayed twice in the list in the Windows initial startup guidance (OOBE);
Fixed the problem that users cannot use Chinese voice-to-text input.

Fixed the problem of error 0x80370106 when using Windows Sandbox;
Fixed the problem that the preferred audio volume does not work after the Edge browser application is closed and reopened;
Fixed the problem of possible KERNEL_SECURITY_CHECK_FAILURE error reporting;
