Changan Unveils All-New CS75PLUS in Latest Ministry of Industry and Information Technology Announcement

TechNews reported on May 12th that in the latest batch of Announcement of Road Motor Vehicle Manufacturing Enterprises and Products released by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the all-new CS75PLUS from Changan made its debut. The new car's outline is almost identical to the UNI series new car (code-named C928) previously reported by TapTechNews, and is expected to be launched in the second half of this year.

According to the information from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, this is a fuel-powered vehicle, positioned as a compact SUV, with dimensions of 4770/1910/1695 (1705) mm in length, width, and height, and a wheelbase of 2800mm. The new car features a trapezoidal grille design at the front, a family-style front headlight group design, a roof rack, and hidden door handles on the side.

In terms of power, the new car is equipped with a 1494ml engine with a maximum power of 138kW. Currently, only the fuel version of the car is known, but according to Changan's previous product planning, there may be a plug-in hybrid version of this car introduced under the identity of a model under the Changan Qiyuan brand in the future.

Changan's previous production and sales target data shows that it plans to produce and sell over 2.65 million units this year, with a goal of achieving 5 million units in sales by 2030 (4 million units for its own-brand), 3-3.5 million units in new energy sales, and 1.2 million units in overseas sales.
