Zhang Zhuo said that this year, in addition to the Dolphin 07 EV, Ocean Online will launch many other new cars. Among them, Dolphin 06 DM-i will be launched in the second quarter (April-June). Dolphin 06 DM-i and Qin L will be the first to be equipped with the fifth generation DM hybrid technology, with a comprehensive range of up to 2000 kilometers.
In addition, the OCEAN-M concept car, which debuted at the recent Beijing Auto Show, will be launched in the third quarter. The production version of the car, based on a new pure electric platform, will be priced between 150,000-200,000 RMB. Zhang Zhuo also revealed that by the end of the year, based on market feedback, we will prepare the DM-i version of the Dolphin 07.
Zhang Zhuo said that next year, 4 to 5 new cars are expected to be released, continuously supplementing new products in the price range of 70,000-300,000 RMB, covering from A0 class (compact car) to C class (large car). The SUV models will be integrated into the Sea Lion IP, while the sedan models will be integrated into the Dolphin IP.
According to previous reports by TapTechNews, the BYD Dolphin 07 EV was officially launched on May 10, with prices ranging from 189,800-239,800 RMB. This car is also the first model of BYD's e-platform 3.0Evo, which integrates BYD's core electric technology.
In the recent 383rd batch of the Announcement of Road Motor Vehicle Manufacturers and Products released by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the identity photo of the Dolphin X was also unveiled. The car's dimensions are 4630/1880/1490 mm (length/width/height), with a wheelbase of 2820 mm, offering two wheel sizes of 18 inches and 19 inches. From the appearance, this new car is likely to be the production version of the OCEAN-M concept car.
