Huawei's HarmonyOS NEXT System Starts Beta Test

TapTechNews noticed that in the design guide of Huawei's HarmonyOS developer official website, in addition to mobile phones and tablets, the page layout of HarmonyOS PC version has appeared, and the adapted applications cover usage scenarios in categories such as audio and video, social, shooting, reading, shopping, finance, life, and travel.

The current HarmonyOS PC version has not yet announced the complete page design details. Through this design specification, it can be seen that thestatus bar information is displayed on the upper right corner of the screen, including: input method, volume, battery capacity, and time, etc. (The official picture is not fully displayed, and some information is blocked); there is aapplication Dock bar at the bottom, including resident functions and applications.

In addition, in the application design guide of HarmonyOS two-in-one devices, multiple application UI interface demonstrations such as efficiency type and immersive type have been displayed, and multiple interface cases have been provided, including weather App, file explorer, etc.

The former Huawei executive and CEO of Shenzhen Kaihong Digital Industry Development Co., Ltd., Wang Chenglu, said in an interaction with netizens last September that there will be a PC version of HarmonyOS this year.
