On May 13, the groundbreaking ceremony of the Yadea Indonesia smart factory was held, marking Yadea's 8th intelligent production and research base globally.
According to Yadea, the new factory is expected to have a total investment of $150 million (approximately 10.86 billion RMB, TapTechNews note) and will be completed by 2026, with a total area of 27 hectares and an annual production capacity of up to 3 million units. The factory will cover core production processes such as welding, painting, and motors, indicating that Yadea's production and research quality, production efficiency, and overseas operation capabilities in Southeast Asia will be significantly improved.
The establishment of the new factory is expected to create around 3000 jobs locally. As of now, Yadea has exported to over 100 countries worldwide, claiming to be the 'global sales leader' for seven consecutive years with over 80 million users globally.
