The RF35mmF1.4 LVCM focuses on both video performance and still photography simultaneously, equipped with a NanoUSM (ultrasonic motor) that controls the floating focus unit and a new VCM (voice coil motor) that drives the rear focus unit.
The optical design of the RF35mmF1.4LVCM lens includes two UD lenses and two aspherical lenses, as well as an air sphere coating (ASC) for reducing ghosting, and the front and rear lens surfaces are also coated with fluorine coating to help reduce smudging.
In addition, this lens also supports dustproof and waterproof, and there are seals around the control ring, focus ring, zoom ring, operation panel, and lens mount.
