ZEEKR X Right-Hand Drive Version Mass-Produced, Set to Enter International Markets

TapTechNews June 6, ZEEKR officially announced today that the first batch of right-hand drive version of the ZEEKR X has been mass-produced and off the production line. It is expected to start delivery in Q3 (the third quarter), and ZEEKR will fully enter the right-hand drive market.

The 2024 ZEEKR X model was released in January this year, equipped with a 66 kWh ternary lithium battery, which can provide a range of 500km/512km/560km, and the official guide price starts at 200,000 Chinese yuan ($28,500).

Right-hand drive models are mainly aimed at some markets around the world, such as the UK, Japan, India, Australia, Hong Kong, Macau, etc. ZEEKR has not announced the specific regions for listing yet.

ZEEKR's delivery volume in May 2024 was 18,616 units, a year-on-year increase of 115% and a month-on-month increase of 16%, setting a new historical high.

In January this year, ZEEKR once announced that the cumulative delivery of cars exceeded 200,000 units. At that time, Lin Jinwen, vice president of ZEEKR Intelligent Technology, disclosed that ZEEKR will press the accelerator and the next 200,000 units will be completed within 12 months. This means that the sales target of ZEEKR in 2024 may exceed 200,000 units.
