Hongqi Signs Agreement to Enter European Market

TapTechNews June 3rd news, China FAW Import and Export Co., Ltd. and the Norwegian MotorGruppen Group officially signed an authorized sales agreement in Drammen, Norway, officially authorizing the sales service of the two products EH7 and EHS7 in the Norwegian region.

TapTechNews notes that the maximum range of the Hongqi EH7 can reach 510 miles (about 820 kilometers), and it has been officially listed in March 2024. This car is the first model launched after the new energy sub-brand operates independently.

The size of the Hongqi EH7 is 196 x 75.4 x 58.7 inches (about 4980 x 1915 x 1490 mm), and the wheelbase is 118.1 inches (about 3000 mm). It is built based on the brand-new FMEs flag architecture and has five configurations. The price range is $36,230 - $48,700.

The Hongqi EHS7 is positioned as a medium and large-sized pure electric SUV. The application drawing has been exposed before and has achieved the global premiere at the Beijing International Auto Show this year. The size of this car is 194.2 x 76.8 x 66.1 inches (about 4925 x 1950 x 1680 mm), and the wheelbase is 118.1 inches (about 3000 mm). It has single-motor and dual-motor versions.

With the signing of the authorization agreement between Hongqi and the Norwegian partner, it means that the entry of the two new energy models EH7 and EHS7 into the European market is officially entering the countdown stage.
