BYD stated that from the relevant videos, at the initial stage of the fire, the open flames were on the rooftop of the second floor, and there were no open flames in the glass exhibition hall on the first floor. It is preliminarily judged that the fire started in the office or rooftop on the second floor, and it cannot be ruled out that it was caused by a short circuit or aging of the wiring. BYD also mentioned that after checking the backend data, there were no abnormalities in the batteries of the exhibition hall vehicles, ruling out the possibility of the vehicles causing the fire.
