Microsoft Updates for Windows 11 KB5037853 with Multiple Bugs

TapTechNews June 8th, last month end, Microsoft released a new round of non-security quality updates for supported versions of Windows. Among them, KB5037853 (version numbers 22621.3672 and 22631.3672) for Win11 seems to have a few more bugs than usual.

According to the 'known issues' list updated by Microsoft, after installing the KB5037853 update, you may encounter bugs such as the taskbar flickering, unresponsive, disappearing and automatically reappearing.

In addition, Microsoft also said that there might be problems during the installation after this update, but mainly in the Windows virtual machine (Parallels Desktop) running on Arm-based Mac devices.

Due to this error, you may see the following error reported in the Windows Update settings:

2024-05 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 23H2 for ARM64-based Systems (KB5037853) Installation Error - 0x800f0845.

In simple terms, after installing KB5037853, Windows 11 in the virtual machine will not be able to start, but as of TapTechNews' publishing, there seems to be no temporary method to solve this problem. In response, Microsoft said that its development team is looking for a solution and plans to provide an update in the future released version.
